Le poids d'un t-shirt détermine son épaisseur et son poids. Il est mesuré en oz (onces par yard carré, oz/yd²) ou GSM (grammes par mètre carré). Un nombre plus grand signifie que plus de tissu est utilisé, plus le poids est important. Voici une répartition :

• Léger (4 à 7 oz ou 130 à 190 GSM) : respirant pour les journées chaudes ou la superposition.
• Poids moyen (7-8 oz ou 190-220 GSM) : Polyvalent, équilibrant confort et structure.
• Poids lourd (plus de 8 oz ou plus de 220 g/m²) : idéal pour le temps froid ou pour une sensation plus épaisse.
• Ultra-lourd (plus de 10 oz ou plus de 300 GSM) : Super épais et durable, parfait pour les journées très froides ou un style coupe carrée.
